"Lyaric" is a term collectively granted to any Lythian who has exhibits the traits of more than one other species. They seem to only appear across the realms when the Lyara, the Auirator of Unity, is making their rounds...
Lyarics are special in that they cannot be created with a normal character slot or realm egg item. Additionally, they don't need to use items for particular builds or variants. Please see the FAQ tab for full information.
Core Features
- Lyaric Lythians must have at least one core feature from each of their two parent Lythians.
- For baby Lyarics, refer to the "Baby Information" tab; for adult Lyarics, refer to the "Core Features" tab.
- They may also exhibit build or variant features, but they do not count towards the mandatory one.
- Please list the parent Lythians and core features used in the "Additional Notes" of your design submission.

Lyara’s Gift
The Auirator Lyara sometimes takes the physical characteristics of two Lythians and blends them into a new being, one that is young and new to the world, before depositing them… somewhere. They may or may not require a guardian to watch over them, depending on their individual personalities, so many things come with the roll of a die. In fact, Lyara will sometimes just create one from scratch, or even gift an offspring to unsuspecting Lythians!
Sometimes these gifts will come with the blessing of different species’ traits, resulting in a Lyaric Lythian.
Origin Quest
Lyarics have inherited the traits of both of their parents, as granted by Lyara during their creation. A crossbreed child may choose to participate in either of their species origin stories, or complete a mix of both.
Please portray your crossbreed Lythian using their baby design or an adolescent design that’s not quite their adult form yet.

How do I know which species quests my Lyaric can complete?
The Lythian’s Lyarical combination species will be listed on their profile, under the "Species Info" tab. You may complete either of the parents' origin quests, a combination of the two, or something completely up to you!

You need to acquire a
Gem Baby Lyaric Slot, a
Baby Lyaric Slot, or order a custom from one of our resident artists. These options are only available during certain periods, so watch the announcements!
Baby Lyaric Slots are available from Truffle's Treasure Trove during the following months: February, May, August, and November; just like other Loonole slots, you may only buy one per month. Additionally, resident artists may list Lyarics on the Design Marketplace, or take custom orders during these months.
Gem Baby Lyaric Slots are only available during Lythbound's anniversary week, between December 2nd - December 9th; these are unlimited purchase.
Outside these time periods, Baby Lyaric Slots are rewarded for obtaining certain achievements or during certain seasonal events. If you are particularly lucky, Lyara might just bless you, as well...
Lyarics are free to use whatever builds and variants desired from their parent Lythians! They don't need to use items like regular Lythians, and can even have Monster or Mythical features. However, it should be noted that builds and variants will not be reflected on your Lyaric's index entry, which will only list their base types.
You are free to apply a Moonsbane Potion to your Lyaric if you wish to display the Monster indicator! However, it should be noted that this is not required to display these features on your Lyaric, and is simply up to personal preference. The same may be applied to the Mythical Ascension Quest; if one or both of your Lyaric's parent Lythians has one, you may use your Lyaric to complete it, but the quests are not a prerequisite for having Mythical attributes.
Alternate forms work for Lyarics just like any other Lythian and require a FORMula Plus item. They cannot have an alternate form that's a cross between different parent species, and require the proper items for asterisk'd variant forms. Other toggle-able forms that Lyarics can have include baby or adult stages, alternative color palettes, a Natbaktera-half's glamour, a Kikitsu-half's bipedal or quadrupedal shift, an applicable Monster variant, and Buzinya illusions.
You can base your Lyaric on one to two existing characters owned by yourself or others (with their permission). However, this is not required.
Unlike normal Lythians, Lyarics at their base only need 2 Core Features, one from each parent species. What this means is that Lyarics may effectively look like anything, as long as they somehow have at least one tie per parent species!
Lyara's blessing only affects Lythians! Companions are more akin to intelligent pets than anything, and as such are not able to consent to Lyara's blessing.
